Treat yourself to a dose of deep skin cleansing with French Green Clay. Since ancient times, clays have been widely and versatilely used for their detoxifying and cleansing effects. French Green Clay is especially suitable for oily and combination skin, which can tolerate a greater degree of dryness. For example, use it as a face mask, cleansing emulsion, a peeling, or hair shampoo. It cleans the skin perfectly, detoxifies, and helps prevent clogged pores. Green clay is a mineral obtained from the Montmorillon region in France. It naturally contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, and other minerals beneficial for beautiful skin.

How to use: 

Pampering the skin: To deeply clean the skin, use Green Clay as a peeling or skin mask. When applied regularly, it removes dead skin particles and unclogs pores. It also helps with skin hydration and blood circulation, improving its revitalising mechanisms. It’s also quite gentle thanks to its soft, ground texture.

Peeling and cleansing clay: Mix the clay with water in a ratio of 1:2 and add a few drops of PURITY VISION® Organic Lavender Oil. Apply the resulting paste in circular motions to the pre-cleansed and damp skin of the face. Afterwards, slowly wash off the mask with lukewarm water. Gently dry the face with a towel and apply our Organic Flower Water and hydrate the skin with our Organic Lavender Oil PURITY VISION®. This procedure rids the pores of unpleasant black dots, leaving the skin flawlessly clean and bright.

Skin mask: For a more intensive clean, mix the French Green Clay with our Organic Rose Water PURITY VISION® and add a few drops of Organic Lavender Oil PURITY VISION®. Leave the caring facial mask on for up to 5 minutes. Choose the duration and strength of the layer based on your skin type. When caring for sensitive skin, apply the mask with a smaller layer. The mask should not dry completely on the skin, so be sure to continuously replenish it with flower water. In place of our hydrating Organic Rose Water, you can use our calming Organic Lavender Water PURITY VISION®.

Body care: To gently cleanse the entire body, you can use a paste that you create by mixing the Green Clay, Organic Rose Water PURITY VISION®, and Organic Lavender Oil PURITY VISION®. Mix all the ingredients together and apply all over the body. The paste will give you clean and smooth skin. Green Clay also has a beneficial effect on skin problems. If you suffer from eczema or psoriasis, prepare a bath or homemade wrap using the clay.

Tip: For quick cleaning using soap, simply mix the clay with water, massage all over the body, and then thoroughly wash it off.

Beautiful hair: Green Clay can also be used as a shampoo that gently washes the hair and skin. To apply it, use a bowl to mix clay with water. Apply the resulting mixture to the roots of the hair and rinse with warm or lukewarm water. You don't even have to worry about using it on a hypersensitive scalp, as French Green Clay doesn’t contain any aggressive detergents. Once applied, the scalp will be beautifully soft and your hair clean.

Warning: Ensure that the French Green Clay mask does not dry onto the face, this could cause slight redness.
